Art Instructor & Illustrator

About me
Art was always encouraged by my parents. I would draw, paint and create all the time. And of course it was my favorite subject in school. I attended and graduated from The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale with my Bachelors in Illustration in 2013. I am currently finishing my Masters degree in Art Education from The Academy of Art University. My first experience with teaching art was right after I graduated college. I started teaching art at The Boys & Girls club. After two years of teaching at The Boys & Girls Club, I decided I wanted to teach in public schools. In 2016, I started my art teaching career in public schools. Since then, I've taught Elementary, Middle and High School. I love teaching and enjoy making my students feel confident in their art skills and pushing them to the best of their ability. As a teacher I hope to inspire and make my students feel welcomed, confident, and supported in my art classroom.
